APTECH MANAGEMENT CHANGES: Sept 2008

Steve Anderson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of APTECH Engineering. All Business unit leaders and the leaders of our support groups now report to Steve.

Tom Burnett has been appointed Director of the Fossil Power Group and will be taking over Terry Rettig’s responsibilities for the day-to day activities of Fossil Power.

APTECH CST is pleased to present timely information of interest to owners and operators of utility and industrial equipment concerned with emissions. With
increasing regulations there will be an increasing demand for a cost-effective method for NOX, SOX, mercury, and chlorides emissions removal along with slag
prevention. APTECH CST methods or proprietary techniques will greatly benefit
units of any size but may be particularly attractive for small and medium size coal units where othertechnologies are cost prohibitive. more in the APTECH June 08 Newsletter

The Nov '07 issue of "Aptech Updates" provides some of the latest happenings at APTECH such as helping our clients analyze real time costs and damage due to cycling using the APTECH COSTOM system. The software has been installed in four European power plants. APTECH also congratulates Marvin Cohn being selected by his peers and becoming an ASME Fellow.
