Development of nondestructive evaluation (NDE) and welding procedures; engineering review for codes and customer requirements compliance; third-party surveillance and field representation; destructive testing and failure analysis of metals and non metallic materials; routine examination for flaws detection and materials characterization using conventional NDE methods; exposure to miscellaneous special techniques on the laboratory scale and their field implementation; and NDE personnel training and certification.
Recent activities include NDE evaluation of nuclear and fossil power plant components, technical supervision on inspection projects, and independent review of examination results.
