Mr. Lesiuk has 33 years experience in the power generation industry including 21 years with General Electric’s (GE) steam turbine division and 12 years as a turbine consultant and project manager with Ebasco Services (later Raytheon Engineers and Constructors) and Aptech Engineering Services.
Mr. Lesiuk’s turbine consulting experience includes the development and implementation of a turbine component condition assessment methodology, failure analyses, preparing equipment technical specifications, bid evaluations and third-party reviews. As a project manager, he was responsible for cost, schedule, and deliverables on life extension programs, reliability improvement programs, and multi-disciple rehabilitation and retrofit engineering projects in the US, China, the Philippines, Bahrain and Chile.
Mr. Lesiuk’s GE experience includes involvement in the design, manufacture, operation, and servicing of turbines for fossil, simple and combined cycle applications, and nuclear fueled power plants. He was responsible for turbine rotor and blade design, operational problem resolution, root cause analysis, factory liaison, and managing major rehabilitation projects, new unit designs, and turbine upgrade/life extension programs. As Manager of Steam Turbine Application Engineering he was responsible for pre-order design work for conversions, modifications, and upgrades to existing GE and non-GE equipment.
